Lee Hyun Jung is a South Korean artist based in Seoul, specializing in contemporary Oriental painting rooted in meditation and spiritual practice. Drawing from her daily Buddhist discipline, her work explores inner stillness, balance, and the quiet landscapes of the mind.

After a four-decade hiatus, she returned to her artistic practice with renewed clarity, merging traditional techniques with a contemporary sensibility. Working with hanji (Korean paper), ink, and natural pigments, her compositions reflect a deep sensitivity to nature and impermanence.
