Henrique Netto

ARTIST | portugal

Henrique Netto is a Brazilian artist based in Lisbon whose interdisciplinary practice spans visual art and cinema. Working with electronic waste, plastics, epoxy resin, and experimental techniques, his work explores the impact of digitalization and the evolving relationship between humans, technology, and the environment.

Since 2021, he has developed the ongoing Electroctopus project, investigating themes of cyborgization and the transformation of planetary life in the digital age. Drawing from his background in film production and fine arts, Netto constructs tactile, conceptual works that merge organic and synthetic elements. His practice reflects on consumption, technological excess, and the blurred boundaries between the natural and the artificial. Through material experimentation, he creates thought-provoking pieces that invite viewers to reconsider their connection to a rapidly shifting, technologically driven world.
