Fausat Olanike Ladokun is a Birmingham-based artist whose creative journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when drawing became a powerful form of healing and self-expression. What started as a coping mechanism quickly evolved into a committed artistic practice, allowing her to transform personal experience into meaningful visual storytelling.

Working primarily with digital media, Ladokun focuses on portraiture that centers Black women, celebrating their stories, resilience, and contributions to society. Deeply inspired by her culture and the work of other female artists, her art seeks to spark conversation, empathy, and admiration. Through her portraits, she aims to create lasting impressions while giving visibility to voices that are often unseen.
