Right here in the heart of Málaga on the sunny Costa del Sol we throw brave and bold artists into our International Artist Program – a new unique hybrid experience: an Art Residency combined with a filmed reality adventure full of bold creative challenges, tight deadlines and unexpected prompts that push your art to the next level.
Then we give you a full month to create your own Next Masterpiece – the signature work that will define the next chapter of your career.
The result? Your challenge pieces + your masterpiece in a powerful curated group exhibition in Málaga.
The entire journey becomes a global series on the new Art Channel where you get to be the star for maximum exposure.

Most residencies give you a studio and wish you luck. We do the opposite.
Phase 1
FILMING PART 1 + ART RESIDENCY
Throws you into four intense days of filmed creative challenges. Cameras rolling, time ticking, prompts you’ve never seen before. It’s raw, it’s real, and it forces you to level up fast.
Phase 2
CREATING THE MASTERPIECE
Then comes the part that actually matters: a full uninterrupted month to create your Next Masterpiece. No distractions. No deadlines. Just you, your vision, and the time to make the work that will define the next chapter of your career. You can stay in Málaga or go home – we stay connected either way.
Phase 3
FILMING PART 2 + EXHIBITION
The challenge pieces and your masterpiece come together in a serious curated exhibition in Málaga. Collectors are in the room. The opening is filmed. And the whole journey is turned into a global series on The Art Channel.
Phase 4
GLOBAL LAUNCH
The final episode is released on Art Channel and shared through our digital platforms, giving the artists and their work long-term visibility beyond the exhibition.
This is where the story reaches a wider audience. Viewers can follow the journey, discover the artists, experience the challenges, and see the artworks come alive on screen.
The episode may also be adapted, submitted, or shared through other formats, channels, broadcasters, partners, and future media opportunities.

Ubicaciones
La filmación tiene lugar en diferentes ubicaciones de Málaga, Marbella y la Costa del Sol, incluyendo estudios, galerías y entornos exteriores. Las ubicaciones exactas se anuncian a los participantes seleccionados a su llegada.
Alojamiento
El alojamiento compartido está incluido de viernes a lunes.
Alojamiento opcional en Málaga puede estar disponible para artistas que deseen quedarse durante todo el período del programa.

No solo organizamos un programa: te ayudamos a conseguir financiación para llegar. Redactamos sólidas cartas de recomendación, compartimos las mejores oportunidades de becas internacionales y te orientamos para cubrir la tarifa de participación, los viajes y los gastos de manutención. Autofinanciarse está genial. Financiado está aún mejor.

Dado que cada edición se limita a solo 8 artistas, pedimos a los solicitantes que respeten el tiempo del equipo curatorial y las oportunidades para otros artistas que están listos para comprometerse plenamente con el programa.
Enviar una solicitud indica que comprendes la estructura del programa, las condiciones de participación y que estás considerando seriamente participar si eres aceptado.
Para ser considerado para Costa del Arte, debes completar el formulario oficial de solicitud. Esta es la única forma de aplicar. Cuanto más completas sean tus respuestas, mayores serán tus posibilidades de ser seleccionado.
Nos reservamos el derecho de hacer cambios en fechas, ubicación y detalles del proyecto. La información final solo se compartirá con los participantes seleccionados.
Debido al alto volumen de solicitudes, no podemos responder a preguntas privadas sobre el proceso de selección. Los cambios pueden ocurrir con poco aviso y no se proporcionará compensación económica si se realizan ajustes.

Después, tendrás un mes completo para crear tu propio Next Masterpiece, una obra principal que pueda definir el siguiente capítulo de tu carrera.
¿El resultado? Tus obras de los retos más tu masterpiece formarán parte de una potente exposición colectiva curada en Málaga.
Todo el recorrido se convierte en una serie global en el nuevo Art Channel, donde tú puedes convertirte en protagonista y ganar máxima visibilidad.

Por qué esto lo cambia todo
La mayoría de las residencias te dan un estudio y te desean suerte. Nosotros hacemos lo contrario.
FASE 1
FILMACIÓN PARTE 1 + RESIDENCIA ARTÍSTICA
Te sumerge en cuatro intensos días de retos creativos filmados. Cámaras rodando, el tiempo corriendo, propuestas que nunca has visto. Es crudo, es real, y te obliga a mejorar rápidamente.
FASE 2
CREANDO LA OBRA MAESTRA
Luego llega la parte que realmente importa: un mes completo sin interrupciones para crear tu próximo Next Masterpiece. Sin distracciones. Sin plazos. Sólo tú, tu visión y el tiempo para crear la obra que definirá el siguiente capítulo de tu carrera. Puedes quedarte en Málaga o volverte a casa: seguimos en contacto de todas formas.
FASE 3
FILMACIÓN PARTE 2 + EXPOSICIÓN
Las obras de los retos y tu obra maestra se unen en una seria exposición curada en Málaga. Los coleccionistas están presentes. La inauguración es filmada. Y todo el recorrido se convierte en una serie global en The Art Channel.
FASE 4
LANZAMIENTO GLOBAL
El episodio final se publica en Art Channel y se comparte a través de nuestras plataformas digitales, dando a los artistas y su obra una visibilidad a largo plazo más allá de la exposición.
Aquí es donde la historia llega a un público más amplio. Los espectadores pueden seguir el recorrido, descubrir a los artistas, vivir los retos y ver las obras cobrar vida en pantalla.
El episodio también puede ser adaptado, presentado o compartido a través de otros formatos, canales, emisoras, socios y futuras oportunidades en los medios.

- Professional filming and media exposure in a reality show

Locations
Filming takes place at different locations across Málaga, Marbella and the Costa del Sol, including studios, galleries and outdoor environments. Exact locations are announced to selected participants when arriving.
Accommodation
Shared accommodation is included Friday – Monday.
Optional accommodation in Málaga may be available for artists who wish to stay during the full program period.

We don’t just run a program – we help you actually get here. We write strong recommendation letters, share the best international grant opportunities, and guide you so you can cover your participation fee, travel, and living expenses. Self-funded is cool. Funded is even cooler.

To be considered for Costa del Arte, you must complete the official application form. This is the only way to apply. Emails, messages, or phone calls will not be accepted. Fill out the form as fully and truthfully as possible. The more complete your answers, the better your chances of being selected.
We reserve the right to make changes to dates, location, and details of the project. Final information will only be shared with selected participants.
Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to respond to private questions about the selection process. Changes may happen on short notice, and no financial compensation will be provided if adjustments are made.
