Fardou Keuning

Fardou Louise Keuning is a Dutch contemporary artist born in 1984 in Haarlem and currently based in Spain. She studied Fine Art at the University of the Arts in Amsterdam (AHK) and has developed an internationally shaped practice through extensive travel, visiting 99 countries and participating in artist residencies across Brazil, Argentina, Tanzania, and Spain.
Her work reflects a broad cultural perspective, informed by both global movement and collaborative environments. Alongside her own practice, she has also contributed to organizing artist residencies, fostering creative exchange and community.
Keuning’s work has been exhibited in museums and cultural institutions across Europe, including Odapark Venray, Oudekerk Amsterdam, La Neomudéjar and Zapadores in Madrid, and La Térmica in Málaga. She has collaborated with galleries in both Madrid and Amsterdam, and her work has also appeared in the music video Do or Die by Amaranthe featuring Angela Gossow.
Now living in Spain, her life and work are shaped by a balance of artistic practice and family life, forming a grounded yet globally influenced perspective.
