The villa has been a creative haven and a meeting place for cultural icons, including the legendary Pablo Picasso, who was a frequent visitor. One of the villa’s most notable features is the La Danza Pool, adorned with a copy of a drawing by Picasso, making it a unique intersection of art and luxury. UNIQUE SETTING

Villa El Martinete is one of the most legendary estates on Spain’s famous Costa del Sol, located just outside Marbella. This villa boasts a rich history and unique cultural significance, deeply intertwined with Spain’s artistic heritage. The original owner, Antonio Ruiz Soler, also known as “El Bailarín,” was one of Spain’s most famous flamenco dancers. He named the villa after the ‘Martinete’ flamenco, his own creation and most celebrated dance.

1. VIP Locations

VIP Visibility from €290

Your artwork will be placed in premium spots with the highest exposure throughout the exhibition period. These include the first entrance hall, living room, and main staircase—spaces where every guest will see your work as they walk into the villa.

These spaces offer great exposure at a more affordable rate, such as the dining room and second-floor hallway. While still very visible, these spaces provide a slightly more intimate viewing experience.

3. Event Display Stand

High to Medium Visibility FROM €190

Artwork will be displayed on stands during the main event only in the house. This option is for artists who wish to show their work exclusively during special VIP event.

4. Gallery AREA

This large, unique space on the bottom floor offers great visibility togheter with other artist in  a exclusive area. It includes large exhibiting walls, and visitors will be guided to explore this section.

These budget-friendly spaces are located in more secluded areas, such as bedrooms, toilets, and other locations. While less visible at first glance, but guests will be guided through these areas.

HOW TO APPLY 

1. Select your preferred space and artwork size based on the price ranges listed above.
2. Submit your application with the artwork dimensions and a photo of your pieces.
3. We will confirm your booking and help you choose from the available spots.
4. Once confirmed, you will receive payment details. Your spot is only secured after payment.
5. Apply and pay early to secure your place in this exclusive exhibition!

DETAILS

Right to Exclude: We reserve the right to exclude any artwork that does not meet our standards or guidelines.

Right to Change: Exhibition dates, terms, and conditions are subject to change at the gallery’s discretion. We will notify all participants of any changes as soon as possible.

Participation Fee: The cost to participate above is plus we take a 30% commission on any sales made during the exhibition or collecters connected to the exhibition. This fee covers all promotional activities, the curation of your work, photos, and video, and the opening night event.

VAT
Prices are excluding 25% VAT. 

Open: The Art House is open during the evennt for guests. Then we have guided tours for art collectors. The rest of the time it will be for guests at other high-end events, rental guests, press, and especially invited art collectors. Not open for drop-in.

Application Deadline: The deadline to apply is June 3, 2025 After that, you can apply to our waiting list. Ensure your work is submitted on time to secure your place in this exclusive exhibition. It’s limited spaces.

Johan Grundin is the head is the curator and reserves the right to exclude certain artworks.

Insurance. Insurance must be arranged by the artist for both transportation and the whole exhibition. 

Delivery to our Gallery: June 4-6 between 10:00 and 17:00.

Pick-up at our Gallery: Aug 6-8 10:00 and 17.00.
Alternative delivery and pick-up dates must be agreed upon in advance; additional costs apply if art is not picked up in time.
