Fragments of a Metamorphosis by Twiggy Shmeissany is a spiritual and emotional art journey through transformation, identity, vulnerability and becoming.
Through large-scale works combining acrylic, Chinese ink, charcoal, handwritten text, abstracted landscapes and expressive portraiture, Twiggy creates a layered visual world where inner landscapes, memory and emotion begin to take physical form.
The exhibition moves between water, stillness, floral compositions, fragmented words and expressive faces, tracing the passage from flow to fracture, from silence to expression, from the outer landscape to the inner self.
This is not only an exhibition about change. It is about the spiritual process of becoming.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Twiggy Shmeissany is a Lebanese contemporary artist, now based in the Netherlands, whose work moves between landscape, waterscape, abstraction and emotional portraiture.
Coming from a family of artists, she developed an early connection to creativity before building a career across business, psychology and corporate leadership in the Middle East. Today, her artistic practice explores transformation, vulnerability, memory and the inner landscapes of becoming.
Through acrylic, Chinese ink, charcoal, handwritten fragments and expressive forms, Twiggy creates layered works where nature, identity and emotion merge into a spiritual and deeply human visual language.
For Fragments of a Metamorphosis, she brings together different phases of her journey, from earlier waterscapes and floral compositions to recent large-scale works exploring fragmentation, self-discovery and transformation.
The Fusion Art Gallery is honored to welcome Twiggy Shmeissany and her powerful artistic universe to Málaga, Spain.

Closest Subway
El Perchel Station (Lines 1 and 2). Exit the station towards Calle Explanada de la Estación, and then you just walk about 350 meters directly to us.
Closest Train Station
Málaga María Zambrano. Leave the station through the main entrance, and you only have a short 400 meter walk down Calle Mendívil to reach our street.
Closest Bus Station
Estación de Autobuses de Málaga on Paseo de los Tilos. From the bus terminal, it is a simple 500 meter walk to the gallery.
Closest Airport
Málaga Costa del Sol Airport (AGP). Take the C1 commuter train directly to María Zambrano Station. The train ride takes 12 minutes, and from the station you just walk 400 meters to our door.
Closest Parking garage
We recommend Parking Salitre on Calle Salitre or Parking Saba inside the María Zambrano station. You can also use the large parking facility at the Larios Centro shopping mall. All three are secure indoor options and just a quick 300 to 500 meter walk away from the gallery.
By Taxi or Uber
Simply set your destination to Calle Malpica 9, 29002 Málaga. The driver will drop you off right outside our entrance. Uber is a highly recommended and safe choice where you know exactly what to pay before you enter the car. Standard city taxis are also easily available and will take you straight to the door.
