Gold Opulence (Triptych)

Description

This triptych explores contrast through texture, material, and light. Each panel combines gold leaf on raw chipboard—roughly applied and sealed with glossy resin—to create a surface that is both luminous and imperfect. In opposition, matte white plaster is chipped and sculpted, revealing an organic texture and subtle tonal shifts under changing light. The tension between the high-shine finish and raw, fractured surfaces invites reflection on beauty, impermanence, and the layered nature of form.
