Nanna Prip

ARTIST | denmark

Nanna Prip is a Danish-Guinean multidisciplinary artist based in Málaga, whose practice is shaped by a multicultural perspective and an international artistic journey spanning New York, Copenhagen, and Spain. Through painting and mixed media, she explores themes of identity, transformation, belonging, and human connection, creating vibrant visual narratives that bridge personal experience with collective memory.

Drawing on symbolism, expressive color, and layered compositions, Prip examines the fluid nature of culture, emotion, and selfhood. Her work balances figurative and abstract elements, inviting viewers into contemplative spaces where boundaries between past and present, self and other, become increasingly fluid. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Harlem Fine Arts Show in New York, Odama Contemporary Art Gallery in Nigeria, and Gallery Sapere Aude in Copenhagen, reflecting a practice that continues to foster dialogue across cultures through contemporary visual storytelling.
