We are excited to invite you to the Luminous Art Magic Exhibition at The Fusion Art Gallery in Marbella. This exclusive exhibitions showcase of over 40 new art pieces, luxury cars and immersive experiences, all under one roof.

Join us in celebrating art that pushes boundaries, featuring the innovative work of Lina Yakobi and her captivating “Yakobi Method,” first revealed at Miami Art Basel 2023, where hidden images come to life in the dark. The exhibition will be on display until 18 October, offering visitors a magical experience with art, music, and more.

THE ARTISTS

Lina Yakobi

Lina Yakobi is an acclaimed artist renowned for her pioneering “Yakobi Method,” a patented technique that reveals two distinct images on a single canvas—one in light, the other in darkness. Her work, which debuted at Miami Art Basel 2023, blends tradition and technology, offering a unique dual-experience that captivates audiences.

Driven by a passion for invention and creativity, Lina’s art explores the boundaries of perception and invites viewers into an immersive, interactive world. Her innovative approach makes her a standout figure in contemporary art, with her work celebrated for its emotional depth and transformative qualities.

Julie Wynn

UK-born Julie Wynn started her artistic journey with watercolors and oils before moving into jewelry design, where she ran a successful business for over 20 years. During her six years in China, she shifted to acrylic painting, which she now exclusively works with. Based in Spain, Julie’s extensive travels across Asia, the Americas, and Europe greatly influence her vibrant, colorful pieces.

Her bold use of color and texture has earned her a global following, with collectors from California to China. Julie has held major solo exhibitions in Marbella and has been featured on ArtGallery UK and Saatchi Art’s ‘Artist to Watch’.

Mari Prete

Mari Prete, a young Armenian-born photographer now living in Europe, is renowned for her captivating street, food, and flower photography, which reveals the hidden beauty in everyday moments through her intuitive perspective.

In her photographic works, Mari Prete uses the manifold possibilities of this genre and manifests her intuitively personal and observational view through the camera. With her pictures she tries to show our world and our life as it is. Facets of life that seem to be hidden in the everyday and are often hardly perceived with the naked eye become visible and thus also experienceable through her photography.

Taraneh Sjostrom

Taraneh Sjöström, originally from Tehran and now living in Sweden, is known for her vibrant and playful style, blending lyrical colors with humorous undertones. Educated in graphic design and art history, her work has been showcased in the Museum of the Americas and is held by private collectors globally.

Celebrated for her imaginative compositions, her art reflects positive themes and a dynamic creative spirit.

Antonio Casares

At the age of nine, Antonio Casares Palma moved to Melilla, where he began his artistic journey at the School of Arts and Crafts. His artistic evolution took him from figurative works to abstract, experimenting with materials like sand, marble, and mixed media.

Mentored by his uncle, sculptor Paco Palma Burgos, Casares Palma explored various art forms, including ceramics, sculpture, and painting. His works have been exhibited extensively in Spain and internationally, known for their texture and depth. His career is marked by continuous experimentation, with abstract works reflecting a fusion of material and emotion.

JOHAN GRUNDIN

Johan Grundin, a Swedish artist and founder of The Fusion Art Gallery in Marbella, blends his background in marketing, photography, and design to offer a fresh perspective on art. 

His bold, experimental work challenges traditional boundaries and invites deeper viewer engagement. Known for creating dynamic exhibitions and immersive experiences, Johan is quickly making a name for himself in the global art scene, pushing the limits of artistic expression and innovation.

Kamila makara reis

Kama Reis, a contemporary artist and designer from Poland now based in Barcelona, blends her Fine Arts and Architecture background with traditional and digital techniques, using colored pencils to explore individuality, existence, and the impact of our lives on others.

Her work examines the relationship between individuality and the world. Exploring the ambivalence of our existence – the idea of how little we are, insignificant. At the same time how essential is our life to us and people that we are meeting everyday.

Her work seamlessly intertwines pop culture themes with deeply personal narratives connected to her family roots. Her vibrant, painterly style and bold, dynamic colours convey a sense of playfulness and curiosity that captivates viewers.

Helena’s distinctive signature style, a unique fusion of embroidery and paint, has garnered international acclaim. Her award-winning pieces have been showcased in exhibitions around the world, solidifying her reputation as a globally recognised artist.

SLAVA

Slava Nemes Matisic (b. 1981) is a Bosnian-born artist based in Bergen, known for his striking blend of street art and contemporary aesthetics. Although he holds a bachelor’s degree in molecular genetics, Slava has transitioned into the world of visual art, where he is now a highly regarded street artist.

Slava thrives on large-scale canvases and murals, where he has honed an impressive mastery over spray cans, creating intricate compositions with bold precision. His signature technique incorporates shading and triple exposures, which give his work a layered, dynamic quality. By merging his scientific background with his artistic vision, Slava continuously pushes the boundaries of his craft, making each piece a reflection of both precision and creative freedom.

VICKY-MAY GIRAUD

Step into the world of a multitalented French/Swedish artist based in Paris, who has graced esteemed galleries in France, the UK, and Sweden, earning recent acclaim at Paris Fashion Air during Paris Fashion Week. 

From childhood inspiration drawn from the Sistine Chapel’s grandeur to a present-day exploration of digital mediums, her art encapsulates the essence of beauty and self-expression. In her latest collaborative series, ‘You’re ruining my looks, societal norms surrounding beauty are challenged as they delve into the intricate layers of identity and perception.

Julia Jüchter

Julia’s art celebrates life’s complexities and the joy of the creative process, affirming the power of art to unite and inspire. Julia Jüchter is an artist from Germany whose work explores behavioral and emotional patterns within our stimulus-rich environment and broader social context. 

With a background in finance, she reconciles her analytical and artistic sides through vibrant, loosely representational motifs and collaged banknotes, highlighting the complex and contradictory nature of society.

PHIL COLEMAN

With more than 30 years experience painting Street Art and exhibiting works in London, Barcelona, Rome, Buenos Aires and LA, Phil has now settled in Malaga, Spain. 

His work is bold and unique in its style, utilizing layers, precise strokes and clever geometry to create the one of a kind pieces. The paintings are a combination of acrylic and oil which are given a new life by the addition of silver leaf, gold leaf or UV paint, providing a three dimensional look as well as the occasional hidden message.

Karin Sonesson

Karin Sonesson, an accomplished marketing and business development professional with 33 years of experience, splits her time between Stockholm and Marbella. Inspired by her inner voice and the joys of community and love, she paints in oil, acrylic, and alco ink. 

Her artistic journey is deeply connected to her roots, with treasured moments spent in Fågelsundet, a fishing village on the northern Uppland coast, where her family’s cottages and boathouse have been passed down for generations.

RUDOG

Ruaridh “RUDOG” Crighton, an Edinburgh-based artist, boasts a rich educational background with a Degree and Masters from Duncan of Jordanstone (2004-2009) and a Masters from Glasgow School of Art (2013).

His work blends Scottish heritage with a contemporary edge, challenging viewers to find deeper meanings within his abstract and surreal expressions.
