Born in 1967 in Cádiz, Juan currently works as a surgeon. Although his profession is far from the arts, since the spring of 2022, painting has become his refuge and deepest form of expression. Self-taught and driven by intuition and passion, he primarily create portraits in oil and acrylic, exploring the complexity of the human face. Torres work aims to evoke emotions through the impact of color, composition, and concept, often inviting reflection and challenging reality. A focus on the contrast between light and shadow, color intensity, and creates an immersive atmosphere. Each piece hints at a story beyond the visible.
