Before You Reach Out Read This First
How We Work With Artists
We are not a regular art gallery. So don’t expect the traditional.
If you’re thinking about calling, emailing, visiting, or messaging us to work with us, pause and read this first. We operate differently from traditional galleries, small hobby galleries, and vanity galleries.
We love to talk you all artists in the world but we can´t. We cannot and will not answer every artist’s questions individually. It is simply not efficient, and we receive hundreds of inquiries every week. Trying to respond to everyone is exactly why many galleries either stop replying, stop accepting new artists, or eventually go bankrupt.
We only communicate with artists who have applied through our website and have been selected for one of our artist programs.
There are many talented artists out there with unique stories and strong work. But the reality is that it’s impossible to work with everyone, especially within the traditional gallery model.
That’s why we have created Gallery Model 4.0. On this page, you can learn how we work before deciding to reach out.
And a piece of honest advice from one artist to another: Always understand how a gallery operates before reaching out, and make sure it’s the right fit for both you and the gallery.
Best regards, Johan Grundin
Founder of The Fusion Art Gallery and a fellow artist

What We Offer
And Why It’s Different
Most galleries offer wall space and local reach. We offer a hybrid system, a full ecosystem built around your art. We are building something bigger than a gallery, and you can be part of it.
Physical Gallery
A real, curated space where your work is experienced in person, not just displayed.
We focus on energy, interaction, and real connections with collectors, not empty rooms.
Art & Culture Club
We don’t just show art, we build a community around it. Our club brings together artists, collectors, and creatives in a more relaxed, social, and recurring environment that drives long-term relationships.
Workshops, Classes & Events
Instead of waiting for visitors, we actively create activity and traffic. Events generate exposure, engagement, and new opportunities, not just one opening night.
TV Production & Live Streaming
We turn art into content. Through video, streaming, and media formats, your work reaches far beyond the physical space, building visibility at scale.
Photo & Podcast Studio
You don’t just exhibit, you create content. We give you the tools and environment to tell your story, document your work, and build your personal brand.
Art Residency
We create space for deeper work and collaboration.
Residencies allow artists to immerse themselves, connect, and evolve, not just exhibit and leave.
More Than a Gallery
We combine exhibition, media, community, and experience into one system. That’s why this is not just a gallery. It’s a growing platform designed to create momentum around your art and you as an artist.
How We Work With Artists
We are building something bigger than a traditional gallery. A global ecosystem where artists, collectors, media, and experiences are connected. Spain is our base. Our market is global.
1. We Provide What Most Artists Struggle With
Most artists try to do everything themselves.
We remove that burden.
- Photo, video, and content production
- Promotion and media exposure
- Events, exhibitions, and audience
- Tools, systems, and infrastructure
We already have the team, experience, and setup.
This makes it:
- More efficient
- More professional
- More cost-effective
Instead of every artist doing everything alone, you benefit from a shared system.
2. Shared Risk Model
Traditional galleries:
- Take 50% to 70% commission
- Only accept artists with proven sales
- Require long track records
- Often “own” the relationship and control pricing
That model is built for artists who are already successful.
Our model is different.
We work with shared risk.
- You invest in your career
- We invest in the platform, exposure, and ecosystem
- We don’t take ownership of you
This allows us to:
- Lower the barrier to entry
- Work with emerging artists
- Focus on development, not just proven sales
3. Once You’re In, You’re In
Before acceptance, everything is structured.
After acceptance, everything becomes more direct:
- Personal communication
- Direct access to opportunities
- Invitations to exhibitions and events
- Closer collaboration
We protect this access. Our focus is on the artists and collectors we already work with.
4. Why We Are Strict Before You Apply
We receive hundreds of artist inquiries every week. If we answered all basic questions individually, we would not be able to run the business.
That is why:
- All key information is already on our website
- We expect you to read it before reaching out
This is not about being harsh. It is about being efficient, transparent, and fair to everyone.
5. Respect the Space
You are welcome to visit the gallery and our exhibitions.
But: Do not promote yourself during other artists’ exhibitions. Do not approach collectors for your own work in that context
Our exhibitions are dedicated to the artists showing at that time. Respect that, just like you would expect others to respect your own exhibition.
6. Application Process
Some people see our process as strict. In reality, it is very standard.
- Read how we work
- Apply through the website
- Wait for review
- Get a response
- Proceed if accepted
It is basic structure to make sure things run correctly.
7. Who This Is For
We are built for:
- Emerging and developing artists
- Artists who want to grow, not just show
- Artists willing to invest in themselves
- Artists who understand long-term value
8. Why This Model Exists
The traditional gallery model does not work for most artists.
- High commissions
- High gatekeeping
- Low access
- Often unclear or unfair contracts
If a gallery fully invests in you, they need to control you. That is how business works. We chose a different path.
In Short
We don’t sell wall space. We build a system around your art. We are not for everyone. And that is intentional.
x. WE DO NOT WORK WITH THE 50/50 MODEL AND WILL NEVER DO
We are artists ourselves, and we built this gallery based on reality, not outdated expectations. The old gallery model is broken. If you are looking for someone to pay for your exhibition, marketing, and career, this is not the right place for you.
Good. You’re still reading. That means you understand something important. We work with shared risk. As an artist, you invest in your own career, just like in any serious profession.
X. How We Work Together when you are in
We believe in something simple but important. Everyone works differently. Our founder has spent over 25 years building companies, working in marketing, business, and development. That means we are very clear about what we are good at and just as clear about where we are not.
No company, no team, and no person is perfect. And that’s exactly the point. We ask you to respect that our way of working might not be your way. And that’s okay.
But if it is not a fit, it is better to be honest about it from the start.
How We Work Internally
We move fast. We are creative. We execute quickly. Structure is not our natural strength. That is exactly why we have built structured systems with forms, applications, and clear processes. If you try to go around these systems, things get missed, delayed, or handled incorrectly.
So please respect the process. It exists for a reason.
We Are Not Trying to Be Everything for Everyone
Please do not try to change how we operate. We are very intentional about how we work. If you are looking for something different, there are many other galleries out there that might suit you better.
Who We Work Best With
We work best with artists who are:
- Proactive
- Patient
- Professional
- Read the instructions
- Serious about building a long-term career
Boundaries
We only onboard artists through our official application process. We do not onboard through DMs, calls, or walk-ins.
Honesty & Trust
We have seen many cases where artists:
- Misrepresent sales or experience
- Provide inaccurate or misleading bios or information
- Sell to collectors through our network or marketing without respecting agreed commissions
- Make direct deals with collectors behind our backs to lower prices
This is simple. If we detect dishonesty or any breach of agreement, it will result in a permanent ban from all our companies, events, and networks.
Communication & Expectations
We do not respond to every message immediately. If something is not urgent or not a priority, it may take time before you hear back from us. Sending multiple emails or messages will not speed things up. It usually does the opposite.
- Typical response time is 2 to 7 days depending on priority
- No response does not always mean no. It can mean not now
- Sending repeated emails or messages will not speed things up
We prioritize based on what is most important for the business at the moment.
If a message falls into something we have clearly stated you should not send, no response may be the response. Repeated spam or irrelevant messages will lead to being blocked.
Social Media Communication
Please respect how we operate on social media.
- Do not tag us in posts or stories that are not directly connected to us
- Do not send random content, portfolios, or unrelated material via DMs
- Do not try to force attention through repeated tagging or messaging
This behavior will lead to restriction or being blocked.
Also, a reality check: No serious gallery wants this type of communication. It does not increase your chances, it damages your reputation and brand.
What We Value
- Clarity over noise
- Respect over pressure
- Long-term thinking over quick wins
- People who take responsibility for themselves
In Short
We are not trying to be everything for everyone.
We are building something with clear standards.
If you respect that, we will work very well together.
If not, there are other places that may suit you better.
