At the age of 15, I moved to Spain, a transition that opened a new world of color, culture, and light.\r\n\r\nI pursued my academic path with great dedication, completing the Bachillerato de Ciencias Puras with the highest honors, and later earning a degree in Business Administration (Licenciatura en Administraci\u00f3n y Direcci\u00f3n de Empresas) with an Extraordinary Achievement Award. My professional background is rooted in finance \u2014 a field that trained my discipline and precision \u2014 but art found me in an unexpected way.\r\n\r\nIn 2012, I visited the David Hockney exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, and it changed something in me. I was deeply moved by his use of color, light, and space. That experience awakened a creative impulse I hadn\u2019t known was there, and soon after, I began painting myself.\r\n\r\nI have always felt a strong connection to the Impressionists. Their ability to capture fleeting moments, light, and emotion continues to inspire me and echoes throughout all my work. My style is heavily influenced by their vision \u2014 expressive, vibrant, and intuitive.\r\n\r\nOne recurring theme in my paintings is hot air balloons. Their brightness, grace, and dreamlike quality fascinate me.
