Milorad Vulin

ARTIST | SERBIA

Milorad Vulin is a Serbian-born artist based in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose practice has evolved from traditional painting into a refined and distinctive mosaic art. With a foundation in drawing, painting, and graphic techniques, his early work explored landscapes, still life, and figurative subjects before transitioning into mosaic as his primary medium.

Working with natural materials such as stone, glass, ceramics, and metal, Vulin creates intricate, hand-crafted compositions that balance figurative and abstract elements. Each piece is carefully constructed from small, irregular fragments, forming layered surfaces rich in texture, rhythm, and detail.

Rooted in the traditions of classical mosaic while embracing a contemporary sensibility, his work carries a strong sense of narrative and emotion. His compositions invite the viewer to slow down and engage with both the symbolism and the technical precision embedded in each piece.

Vulin’s works have been exhibited widely and are featured in private collections and architectural spaces, where they bring warmth, individuality, and a timeless connection between art and environment.
